Biodiversity Film Festival (June 1-4, 2011), New Delhi


As part of global World Environment Day celebrations 2011, CMS Environment  along with the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), GOI, is organising a Biodiversity Film Festival from June 1-4, 2011 at several locations in the city. 

More than a dozen films will be screened at five different locations in the city reaching out to 5,000 people comprising general public, defence personnel, children and others from June 1-4, 2011. Some of the award winning films from CMS VATAVARAN, India’s premier Environment and Wildlife Film Festival will also be screened. Subject experts on forests and biodiversity will conduct interactive sessions following the film screenings.

·         June 1, National Science Centre I
·         June 2, PVR Plaza (Inauguration of the festival and premier of Naresh Bedi’s film)
·         June 3, Tihar Jail
·         June 4, Subroto Park
·         June 4, ITBP camp
